CFD is En Fuego
I got to spend Tuesday afternoon touring Fire Station #1 here in Corona. I met some nice firefighters and learned a lot about how they live and work. The full interview with Captain Jim Steiner will be available next week, but here are some photos light your imagination.

Interviewing the Mayor of Corona
On Friday I was really late to school because I was invited to stop by Corona City Hall and talk with Corona Mayor, Karen Spiegel. Every month she does what she calls 'The Mayor's Message', when she interviews people in the city about upcoming events and important topics for the city. I really like her interviews, they seem so easy for her.
I had sent her an email asking if I could interview her and she really liked the interview I was involved in with Senator Roth, so she said she would talk with me. Then she got the idea for me to interview her on her Mayor's Message.
It was so much fun. Normally I just have Mom and a camera. For this there were three professional cameras, lots of equipment and a whole bunch of people making sure my clothes looked right and fixing that one little hair on my face.
There are lots of topics important to the city which have to air first, so it will be a while before this interview airs, but I can't wait. I had so much and learned so much. Plus the wrote me the best excuse letter for being late for school ever!
As soon as it ready I will post the link and my behind the scenes video. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy the pictures. #CityofCorona

Corona Grand Race
Hey Viewers,
On Saturday, September 14, Mom took me to see the Grand Race Victory Lap. It celebrated the one hundredth anniversary of the Corona races. My dad showed me where the race track was on the map at the library. It was fun to see race cars on the road. I wanted to go to City Park for the rest, afterwards, but my mom was really sick. I saw pictures though and it looked like everyone had real fun. I love all the fun stuff we get to do in Corona. Because our cameras are still messed up our video wasn't the best, but we came up with a fun way to use it.

Throwback Thursday: Lieutenant Neil Reynolds- Corona PD
Hey Everyone!
A few weeks ago I got to talk with Lieutenant Neil Reynolds about the Corona Police Department during National Night out. I already posted a video about NNO but I wanted to post my whole interview with LT. Reynolds. It was a great to spend time talking with him because he and the rest of the police department are everyday heroes. They protect us. I enjoyed learning about the different parts of the Corona Police Department.

Corona Public Library- Book-a-Palooza
I had the best time tonight. It was another fundraiser for the Corona Public Library Friends of the Library, Book-a-Palooza. There were so many fun things to do. There were games and telescopes and crafts and all kinds of free gifts, My favorite thing was the Corona Police Department. I got to try on police gear.
There were so many terrific people who were willing to talk with me for my blog.

I can't wait to do posts on them over the next week. One of my new friends, Ms. Lucy Silva, even introduced me to the Mayor of Corona, Jason Scott, and took my picture with him. He was very busy and didn't have time to answer questions, but I thought he was very nice.
