My school had a literacy workshop and BBQ lunch. It was fun. I got to get out of class for a while and Mrs. G Rogers showed us some slides that showed how kids who read do better in school and then we read out loud to our parents. Then I got to have lunch with my mom. It took a while because they ran out of burgers but it was really good. Mom showed me how to make thousand island dressing for my salad. I would do it again.

Then I got to have lunch with my mom. It took a while because they ran out of burgers but it was really good. Mom showed me how to make thousand island dressing for my salad. I would do it again.
