Braveheart saw us across the park and came out into the field toward us. I have never seen any of the rabbits on that side of the track. I have found droppings so I know they go there. Just not when the park is full of people. A girl with a camera was there too and she chased him into the tunnel. We laid out the carrot and sat back. He came back a little later and brought two smaller bunnies with him. He is so brave, he comes right up almost to where we could touch him. I want to but mom still says not to. He likes to eat the little flowers in the grass better than the carrot. We took lots of video today even though we forgot the video camera

Bunnies Up Close!
The bunnies are beginning to trust us. They let me lay really close to them and take pictures yesterday. The other kids and the dogs still make them run though. And the babies are still really scared of everything. It is really hard to be still and quiet!

Bunnies!
Cher
Brave Heart
Mom catching a long shot!
At the park we saw 5 rabbits. When we got home we looked them up. I think they are eastern cottontails. They are really cute. We sat quietly and watched them when they would come out to eat. One always stayed no matter how many people were around. I called him Brave Heart. He let me get really close. There was another one that was really shy. I called it Cher. There are rabbit holes all over the hill. I hope we can see them again.
