Tuesday was the last day of summer vacation so mom took me out to have some fun. Later we stopped at the Corona Library because Mrs. Sherman, my school librarian, said there was going to be a K-9 Unit there. It was National Night Out and we got there early enough to avoid the crowds and I was able to talk with very nice police officers. All four of them were super. They had stuff to give away and information on keeping safe. There was a motorcycle officer with his bike and it was very cool. Officer Glenn let me meet his K-9 partner and I got to pet him and Lieutenant Reynolds gave me a super interview about the Corona Police Force. I want to thank them and all of those brave men and women who keep us safe in our city everyday. It was terrific to talk with some of them. I am posting the short video here but I will have the full interview up on You Tube and in my interview book as soon as it is ready.
Wednesday, I am starting fifth grade. I can't wait! I wish summer was longer, but this was a terrific interview to end my summer project.
